A resident of Technopark “Idea”, Director of “SmartHead” Production Company Development Maxim Busarev has told the audience how to properly communicate with the client in traditional Startup-chat-in at Kazan IT-Park.
Maxim Busarev, as the leader of the Company “SmartHead’, often deals with a variety of clients. Over the years, he has gained a wealth of communication experience, and shared that with young entrepreneurs and interested audience gathered at the Press center of Kazan IT-Park.
Maxim, having acquainted with the audience and instantly having set them for a wave of friendly and easy communication, started with the point that the manager would always be a friend for a man. Humanistic attitude to the client, the effort to follow clear and simple rules of courtesy in the business communication ran like a golden thread through the rest of the speaker’s speech. The “SmartHead” leader encouraged the audience to speak the client's language and avoid terms that could not be understood without further explanation. At that, Maxim Busarev said that the attention to the words of your conversation partner played a huge role. The speaker paid a considerable attention to purely psychological aspects of communication, such as a tendency to call the conversation partner by his name on a more frequent basis, and an increased attention to body language. “I am not a supporter of common stereotypes about the signs of the conversation partner’s closedness, for example, crossed arms, but you may come across a client who really gives it meaning. Mind your manners, but do not let this turn into paranoia, be friendly and open”, - advised Maxim to the audience.
However, with all due consideration and respect for his client, Maxim Busarev advised not to forget about the company status. “Never do things for free, even if your acquaintances or friends turn to you for services. Always let the client know that your work - is important, and it has lots of difficult moments – said the speaker. - You should provide the client a rough idea of your competence, therefore it would be better if a person who can help you in the conversation about the technical details will accompany you during the negotiation”. Maxim encouraged the audience to keep the brand at all times, even with the difficult clients, because a long-term cooperation or outcome of a contract entered into between you depend on building up the communication. Success is always at the balance between respect for your interests and the interests of the client.
Finally, the guest gave the audience some advises how to relate to your own business and his final thesis addressed the issues of personal psychology. The thesis was referred “About Karma” and revealing it, Maxim Busarev advised not try to cope with something by itself only. “Never neglect the help of your colleagues, always look for the positive emotions, do not save time for sleep and rest – as a result it will affect you. A distracted attention and a bad mood – a certain path to ruin your efforts. Love yourself and what you do, learn to live with it, leaving room for other areas of your life. Then you will be succeeded, and will be able to communicate with your clients freer, which means – more efficient”, - that was the final advice of Startup-chat-in guest.
