A meeting of Deputy Prime Minister of RT – Minister of Industry and Trade of RT Albert Karimov with heads of departments and representatives of the scientific and expert community of the republic has taken place in Technopark “Idea” for the first time today.
“Those countries, regions, economies develop the most effectively where the interaction of the three biggest institutions: business, science and government, are ensured the most efficient. Tatarstan, adhering to this concept, systematically work to our authorities, the expert community and our industry in order to operate within the framework of the Strategy-2030. Today’s meeting is only a small tool that we together with the experts to compare notes and think alike.
What about will think our students, what kind of worldview will be developed in our young people depend on it. It is those people who will work tomorrow on our business projects, factories and enterprises. It is very important for us to provide such interaction, so that we understand each other and speak the same language”, - said Albert Karimov in an interview with a correspondent of IA “Tatar-inform”.
We would like to remind that meetings of heads of departments for humanitarian and socio-economic sciences of the universities of the Republic of Tatarstan with representatives of the republic’s leadership are held on a regular basis on the initiative of the Interuniversity Coordinating Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for humanitarian and socio-economic sciences, supported by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Today during the meeting, representatives of the research and educational community have been presented industrial potential of Tatarstan, as well as the current status of the SEZ “Alabuga” and Technopark “Idea”. Reports, in particular, were made by Albert Karimov, CEO of CJSC “Innovational production Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko, Director of Corporate Affairs Department of the SEZ “Alabuga” Mikhail Mironov.
After each performance the audience members of the scientific community had the opportunity to ask questions. Most of it touched on the subject of coordination and ensuring closer cooperation of universities with leading companies of the republic in terms of the personnel issue, as well as on the problems of providing the necessary empirical information for scientific research. Invited guests gave exhaustive answers on all questions.
The meeting ended with the presentation and demonstration of the technical capacity of Technopark “Idea”.
“This is my first time spending such a meeting. I am sure that our communication will be useful. This is not some kind of lecture. This is a two-way street. I am also interested to see in what our scientific community, heads of departments and teachers are interested and worried today. Their wishes, their opinion will necessarily be taken into account in the future when forming our policies in the field of industry”, – said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of RT.
