Congress of organizations of innovative infrastructure for support of small and medium-sized businesses has been launched today in Moscow. The event takes place in the framework of the All-Russian Day of small and medium-sized businesses. The Congress is attended by representatives of federal ministries and agencies, development institutions, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, representatives of regional organizations from 52 regions of the country, as well as delegations from Germany, Italy, the People’s Republic of China, Tunisia, officials of the Executive Agency for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship of the European Commission (EASME).

Today there was a panel discussion of the Congress, where the General Director of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs Andrey Svinarenko presented the success stories of the network of nanocenters. As an example of the success of the first release of the nanocenter of a technology company, he led the project “Nanopharma Development”, developed by Technopark “Idea” together with company “Izvarino Pharma”.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko will speak at the Congress as moderator of the section “Qualification Committee of Russia’s innovation infrastructure”. He will talk about the experience of Technopark in the field of measuring performance of innovation infrastructures and will demonstrate the criteria according to which the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) assesses the effectiveness of technoparks and other innovative infrastructures. One of the main speakers of this section will be the Head of EU|BIC Services of ЕВN Giordano Dichter. He will talk about the activities of EBN and will explain the peculiarities of certification.
Recall that in 2009 Technopark “Idea” became the first Russian technopark certified by EBN standards. In 2013, Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and Krasnoyarsk Regional Innovation and Technology Business Incubator (KRITBI) became full members of EBN with the participation of Technopark “Idea”. In 2015, Technopark of Yugra became the fourth Russian full member of EBN, which was accredited by EC-BIC standards.
The European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) is the leading European Network, bringing together about 150 technoparks, business incubators and venture centers around the world. Membership in EBN will allow residents of Technopark - small and medium-sized innovative companies - to take a more active part in the European innovative programs, to attract to the development of the Technopark additional sources of funding.
