Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has opened on the territory of Technopolis “Himgrad” Kazan plant of modern packaging (KPMP), which will be the first enterprise in Russia for production of box-shaped bags. Such products are suitable for all manual and automatic lines of filling and packaging of cement, fertilizers, lime, animal feed, flour, sugar, rice. These bags, according to the CEO of KPMP Roman Vyalkin, are durable, resistant to falls, shocks, grips and bends, water-resistance, and ease of application. The bags will be produced according to the technology AD*STAR on the complex of equipment Starlinger (Austria).
“The most important thing is that we came here, we remember what a ground was here, and today I do not recognize it. Every time I come, and there are some new enterprises. Today, the plant of modern packaging has been opened. I looked carefully all the technology: the most important thing is import substitution. It is completely Russian raw materials and the most modern machines. And we congratulate investors with this wonderful project”, – said Rustam Minnikhanov at the opening.
“This equipment of the complete production cycle – automated lines that can produce more than 40 million pieces of bags per year”, - said Vyalkin.
In the near future, the plant hopes to meet the needs of Tatarstan, and then come out to the neighboring regions. Its annual revenue is expected to reach 600 million rubles per year. The volume of investments is 700 million rubles. As reported by Vyalkin, the main financial and strategic partner of the plant is Promsvyazbank. It acted as the investor, also part of the funds was private.
