The Regional Championship is taking place from 7 to 9 April 2016 in the exhibition center “Kazan Fair”.
During the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Minister of Communications and Mass Media of Russia Nikolai Nikiforov, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Assistant to the President of RT Leila Fazleeva, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister of RT – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov and other leaders of ministries and agencies. The guests got acquainted with the work of the contestants, studied the prepared products and communicated with participants and experts.
During the visit, CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko briefly told the Tatarstan President about how the residents of Technopark support the sites of WorldSkills Russia. He said that the residents of “Idea” became experts and co-organizers of such areas, as “Laser Technology”, “Catering Service”, “Mobile Robotics” and others.
One of the resident companies of Technopark – General Director of the Laser Center of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Nasonov (chief expert of the competence “Laser Technology”) introduced Rustam Minnikhanov with the latest developments: 3D processing of metal and color coded.
It should be noted that the best young professionals are identified among the 454 contestants on the 56 competencies at the Regional Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Tatarstan. The skills of the participants are appreciated by the 380 experts, including 73 experts from 17 subjects of the Russian Federation. All occupations are divided into 6 major units: construction, industry, IT, services, maintenance of civil transport, arts and design. Juniors and schoolchildren aged 10 to 17 years in 15 occupations will compete also in the period of the championship on the same site with the main competitors. The closing ceremony and awarding of winners will take place today.
