OMZ Group (United Heavy Machinery Plants), a leader of Russian heavy engineering, and Fund “Skolkovo” invite you to participate in a competition “Technostart”.
“Technostart” is the largest competition of innovative projects in the field of technologies for mechanical engineering. Participation in the contest will give the company an opportunity to talk about ongoing projects to the heads of leading Russian corporations and investment funds.
Projects will be considered by members of an Expert Council - the heads of OMZ Group, Joint-Stock Company “ALROSA”, OJSC “Gazprom Neft”, PJSC “Tatneft”, PJSC “LUKOIL”, State Corporation “Rosatom”, JSC NOVATEK, State Corporation “Russian Technologies”, Fund “Energy without frontiers” and LLC “INTER RAO – Engineering”, JSC “NPO “Saturn”, ORKK, UC RUSAL, JSC “Krastsvetmet”, OMK, PJSC “Severstal”, OJSC “Mechel”, “Aleksin chemical combine”, “Boretc”, Concern “RUSELPROM”, Danieli, and experts from many other large industrial companies and foundations.
Collection of applications is open until March 18, 2016 on the website www.tstart.ru, 20 finalists will be determined on 8 April 2016. All of them will be able to pass a two-day mentoring program and to perform at the final event on April 22, 2016 in Moscow.
Winners will receive prizes from the OMZ Group and other partners of the competition. In addition, the strategic partner of the contest, the Fund “Skolkovo, will select the best projects which are at the end of the formal stage of obtaining the status of Skolkovo participant will be able to receive a grant from Skolkovo for the sum to 5 million rubles without mandatory requirements on co-financing.
The contest accepts projects in the field of equipment for petrochemical industry, cryogenic engineering, metallurgical and mining equipment, industrial web, metal, etc. ALROSA’s section is open to projects in the field of mining, innovative construction projects in the permafrost zone, and in the field of purification of circulating water exploration. On the section of the Management Company “Leader” are accepted projects in the field of engineering technology for utilities: heating, water and sewage, disposal and recycling of municipal and industrial waste.
