Wireless fixators of touches for fencing, developed in Technopark “Idea”, were tested within the Fencing World Championship.

Wireless fixators of touches were developed in the framework of the innovative project of LLC «Primula». The participants of the Fencing World Championship, which took place in Saint-Petersburg on September 28 – October 8, 2007 tested the working models of the new monitoring system of wireless fixators of touches for fencing.

The testing of the working model was performed under the supervision of the SEMI FIE International Technical Director Josи Eduardo Dos Santos. Since the previous presentation of the wireless fixator of touches at the men epee fencing tournament of Grand Prix in Paris (France, May 2007) the authors of the project eliminated defects and improved the development. After the Fencing World Championship several models were given to the specialists for closer inspection inPortugal.

The project «Wireless fixator of touches for fencing»has being realized in Technopark “Idea” since 2004. In 2005 the project was granted within the Programme «START-05» by Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises. The co-investors of the project are International Fund «For the Future of Fencing» and OJSC «Innovative Technopark «Idea».
