The government of a province of East Kalimantan (Indonesia) and Technopark “Idea” have signed today a memorandum of understanding. The signing of the memorandum has taken place during a working visit of the Indonesian delegation to Tatarstan. Signatures under the document were put by the Governor of the province of East Kalimantan Awang Faroek Ishak and CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhrasiev and director of PT “KAB” Denis Muratov were also presented at the signing of the agreement.
Within the framework of the memorandum it is planned to develop cooperation, stimulating sustainable development of the economy of the two regions. East Kalimantan and Technopark “Idea” will work in such areas, as the development of science and modern technologies in the province.
“We will learn from the experience of Technopark, to create technoparks in Kalimantan and to develop it”, - said Awang Faroek Ishak.
The memorandum that has been signed today is valid for 5 years.
It should be noted that the signing of the agreement was the result of joint hard work of both sides. The first visit of Indonesia’s representatives to Technopark took place on the 9th of April 2015. Then the leaders of the province became acquainted with the history of Technopark, modern infrastructure and projects of the resident companies. During the summer experience of Technopark was being studied by civil servants of the province. Following the negotiations it was decided to sign the agreement.
