Young scholars – schoolchildren of 7-11 grades from different cities of the republic - gathered on summing up results of the Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite-2015” at the Academy of Sciences.
According to the organizer and the ideological inspirer of the contest - Director of the Academic Lyceum named after N.I. Lobachevsky Tatiana Bespalova - for all time of existence of Tatarstan Erudite the competition is attended by more than 200 students each year, and every year there is an increase both the quantitative and qualitative composition of the participants.
In the second qualifying round of the competition each of the contestants had to answer 100 questions in 100 minutes from various areas of the school curriculum.
The President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Myakzyum Salakhov, who took part in the ceremony of awarding the winners, admitted that sometimes he decides the questions of the unified state exam for fun. “I wonder how I would cope with a hundred questions in 100 minutes and would be included in the top ten”, - thought Myakzyum Halimullovich. He promised to try.
In 2015 the contest “Tatarstan Erudite” was attended by 250 people and only 6 of them were awarded the title of winners. It is only 2.5% of the total number of participants. Thus, the competition for the prize was 42 people per place.
The absolute winner of the competition was a pupil of the 11th class of the Lyceum No. 35 of Nizhnekamsk Artyom Sorokin. He was awarded the title of Young Academician.
CEO of Technopark Sergey Yushko congratulated the winners of the competition with this new achievement in their lives and thanked them for their interest and perseverance, exhibited by the schoolchildren in their studies and intellectual competitions.
Recall that since 2011 Technopark “Idea” holds a nomination “Nano-IQ” in the framework of the contest. The nomination should contribute to the growth of interest in nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanosystems, and to encourage students to deepen and broaden the knowledge about modern trends of development of the interdisciplinary field of fundamental and applied science and technology. Each of the winners in the category “Nano-IQ” Technopark traditionally encourages valuable gifts.
