A final of the VII Annual Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite 2015” will be held on May 14, 2015 in Kazan in Technopark “Idea”.
The competition aims to support creative and intellectually gifted children, to identify the level of general knowledge of students and level of formation of professionally significant qualities.
The competition takes place in three stages. Schools of the republic have held the qualifying round of the competition, the winners of which took part in the second round, where in writing within a period of 100 minutes to answer 100 questions on basic topics of the school curriculum.
The third final round is the oral. The winners will be awarded the title of “Young Academician” and “Winner of the VII Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite 2015” in two age groups - grades 7-9 and grades 10-11.
In 2011, Technopark “Idea” established nomination “Nano-IQ”, which increases the interest in nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanosystems and motivates students to deepen and broaden the knowledge about modern trends in the development of the interdisciplinary field of fundamental and applied science and technology. Annually for three years the participants, who showed the highest erudition in the field of nanotechnology, were being awarded by special high-tech prizes from the organizer of the category.
Recall, that Tatarstan Erudite is a joint project of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT, Technopark “Idea” and the Tatar State University of Humanities and Education.
The competition has been annually since 2008. Since 2009, it received the Republican status.
2,650 students have participated in the competition over 7 years. In 2014 the number of participants was more than 180 people.
