VII Annual Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite 2015” has started today at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of Kazan Physical-Technical Institute named after E.K. Zavoisky, Academician of the RAS Kev Salikhov, Deputy General Director for logistics, production and sales of equipment of ICL-KPO Evgeniy Stepanov, Head of the Department of External Relations and PR of Technopark “Idea” Evgeniy Malikov, representatives of the Academy of Sciences and other officials.
Word of severance before the participants of the contest was made by Kev Salikhov. He wished the students of Tatarstan success, and also spoke about the trends in modern science, in particular, the development of a quantum computer. “You are the generation of children that will continue these developments and implement it in life, - said the Academician. - Science is waiting for you”.
Evgeniy Malikov wished the students good luck and told about innovations in the nomination “IQ-nano”, organized by Technopark “Idea”.
Recall, Tatarstan Erudite is a joint project of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT, Technopark “Idea” and the Tatar State University of Humanities and Education.
The competition is held annually since 2008. Since 2009, he received the status of the Republican.
2,650 students have participated in the contest for 7 years. In 2014, the number of participants amounted to more than 180 people.
In 2011, the Technopark “Idea” was established nomination “IQ-nano”, which increases the interest in nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanosystems and motivates students to deepen and broaden the knowledge about modern trends of development of the interdisciplinary field of fundamental and applied science and technology. Annually for three years, the participants, who showed the highest erudition in the field of nanotechnology, are awarded special high-tech prizes from the organizer of the nomination.
In 2014, following the results of the competition the winners of the nomination, as well as owners of e-books became students from school No. 6 of Bugulma city Eduard Minushev and Xenia Sinyagaeva. Third place was won by Egor Plyashkov (School No. 9 of Elabuga city), which was presented to the camera from the Technopark “Idea”. Second place in a bitter struggle was earned the student of the Kazan school No.39 Arthur Yanbekov, and the first was Almaz Khabibrakhmanov. The winner and second place winner were given tablets.
