A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the nonprofit organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”, dedicated to conducting of the annual republican contest “Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan” was held on April 7, 2015 by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov. The event was held in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting it was reported that from 2015 the official co-organizer of the competition becomes the Ministry of Education and Science of RT, which will be responsible for nominations “Innovations in Education” and “Perspective”.
At the same time nomination “Cooperation” has been excluded from the contest.
Program for the development of innovative projects “Idea-1000” has being held in the republic by Technopark “Idea”, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in scientific-technical sphere since 2006. In 2014, the competitive selection was held for the ninth time. Total funding for the winners of 2014 will be about 110 million rubles.
Since 2015 nomination “Youth Innovation Project”, which was previously included in the program of innovative projects “Idea-1000”, becomes part of the nominations of the competition “Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”.
Note that during the period from 2006-2014 was adopted 2,219 applications on the program “Idea-1000”. During the same period the Expert Council decided to finance 454 projects totaling approximately 687.2 million rubles.
Also, the participants of the meeting heard reports concerning the activities of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan to work with OJSC “MSP Bank”, CJSC “Aktanysh Aggregate Plant”, innovative project “Development of the finished commercial product - equipment for processing low-quality wood into liquid fuels” (LLC “EnergoLesProm”).
In addition, on the meeting were discussed the details of the X Kazan and XV Russian Venture Fairs that will be held in Kazan from 23 to 24 April 2015. Recall that the proposal to merge the two anniversary events was made by the Russian Association of Venture Investment. Upcoming event for the first time this year will be held over two days. In the framework of the fairs will be held events such as the II International Conference “Clusters as drivers of development strategy of regions of Russia”, all-Russian meeting “Extending projects: new forms of coordination of innovative programs at the state level” and the Republican meeting “Technological initiative of the Republic of Tatarstan - the flagship project of the “Strategy 2030”.
