KAZAN YOUTH WILL OPEN KAZAN LASER SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN OF CYIC “IDEA”
The concept of creating Kazan laser school was presented on February 18, 2015 the head of the project “Creation of a network of Centers for Youth Innovation Creativity (CYIC) in Tatarstan” Nikolai Nasonov at the final meeting of the joint Board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and ex-Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexei Kudrin. The school will be established in the Center for Youth Innovation Creativity “Idea” (CYIC “Idea”).
Children, which have successfully completed the training, will receive a certificate that in the future will give them the opportunity of employment and work on the laser equipment in the factories of such companies as “Mercedes”, “Schneider Electric”, OJSC “Kazan helicopter plant”, OJSC “Elecon Plant”. The certificate is valid in 50 industrial enterprises of Tatarstan, equipped with similar systems.
It should be noted that according to the decision of the UN General Assembly 2015 is the year of light and light technologies. The reasons for this decision are related to the history of science, in particular, this year marks 1,000 years to works on optics of famous Arab scholar and thinker Ibn al-Haytham.
In the Center for Youth Innovation Creativity “Idea” (CYIC “Idea”) 2015 is the year of lasers.
In the context of these decisions with the support of the Foundation for Assistance and Laser Center RT students of higher educational institutions will open the Kazan laser school for children. The aim of the project is the development of the child's views about the light, preparing for one of the most difficult school courses in physics, as well as conducting more than 100 practical experiments (the propagation of light, reflection of light, refraction of light, diffraction of light, interference of light, Tyndall effect, and so on), the practical study of the applications of these phenomena in modern laser systems.
In 2015 before the Kazan school is a large task: during the year, each student should be familiar with the work of one of the systems of laser cutting and engraving.
According to Nikolai Nasonov, CYIC “Idea” is only in the Russian Federation CYIC, in which the children have access to the most modern laser equipment, among which 2 laser system Minimarket M20 and Turbo Marker, with fiber laser production IPG Photonics, 2 CO2 laser Trotec Speedy 100 R and Speedy 300 R and much more.
Specifically for training in Kazan laser school in January 2015 CYIC “Idea” was equipped with the latest laser system Turbo-marker with fiber-optic laser production IPG Photonics. It is planned that this system will become the basis for the study of work and devices of laser systems. The production of system Turbo-marker was supported by the Foundation for Assistance in December 2014 on the program “Commercialization”.
“Under these systems are being developed manuals that will give the opportunity to spread the positive experience of working with Tatarstan children in all regions of the Russian Federation”, - said Nikolai Nasonov.
For younger groups are provided master classes on creation of the solar system and scan the cube. Following the results of training every child should leave school with an engraved object (pen, scissors, etc.) or self-made ruler.
According to Nikolai Nasonov, today Tatarstan is a leader in the introduction of laser technology in the real sector of the economy: “We create the Departments of laser technologies in the universities, the company NTO “IRE-Polus” plans to create laser engineering center in Kazan and assembly production in the SEZ “Alabuga”, with the task of professional orientation for children on laser technologies CYICs RT (10 centers in Tatarstan) will assume. We will introduce children with the basic technological processes of laser cutting and marking of various materials”.
