Today, during a working visit to Kazan, Director of the Department of State Policy in the field of Education of Children and Youth in the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Stradze has acquainted with the activities of Technopark “Idea”, the work of the Centers for Youth Innovative Creativity and the developments of Technopark residents.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko told Alexander Stradze about the history of Technopark creation and the possibilities that “Idea” provides youth. He told that Technopark was opened in February, 2004. To date, more than 1,800 specialists, whose average age is 28 years old, have been working in “Idea”. Just a year young and enterprising entrepreneurs create approximately 60 new companies on the territory of “Idea”.
Sergey Yushko explained that Technopark has developed and carries out a whole complex of measures for the training of young entrepreneurs and young professionals. The work with beginner entrepreneurs is started from an early age. In particular, children have already worked in the Center of Lego Construction and Robotics from 5-7 years old. Then, in middle school, schoolboys conduct their developments in the Center for Youth Innovative Creativity. As explained by the Head of the project “Creation of the Network of the Centers for Youth Innovative Creativity (CYIC) in Tatarstan” Nikolai Nasonov about 500 children actively work in CYIC for the year. The classes are held in the form of school lessons, and in the form of master-classes. Schoolboys, using the computer programs, study laser cutting and working with 3D printers.
Having learnt the basics of innovative activity, in high school schoolchildren take part in the contest “Erudite”, where Technopark has organized its own nomination “Nano-IQ”. Becoming students, young people undergo practical training in resident companies of “Idea”, and later remain at work.
During the visit Alexander Stradze has acquainted with the activities of Technopark residents. So, in Innovative and Technological Center he was shown the work of the company “Eidos”. Having started its operations in 2010 with the release of car simulators, currently the company is engaged in not only the development of auto and air simulators, simulators for emergency services, military equipment and navigation, but also develops another direction is the development and production of medical simulators. To date, the production of training simulators is located on the territory of Technopolis “Himgrad”, and the development team of this project works in the Business Incubator of Kazan IT-Park and Technopark “Idea”.
Representatives of resident companies of Technopark told the visitor about working with the young staff. In particular, Director for Development of digital production company SmartHead Maxim Busarev told Alexander Stradze that SmartHead actively participates in school competitions and works closely with the relevant departments of universities and colleges.
After reviewing the cooperation of small companies with educational institutions of Tatarstan, Alexander Stradze stressed the importance of such cooperation and asked about the difficulties that arise in this way.
Director of SmartHead Igor Zilberg noted a positive trend and brighter moments in the work.
