Today participants of the Republican Camp of young chemists “Orbital” have visited Innovative Technopark “Idea”. About 50 children got to know the possibilities, offered to beginner entrepreneurs in Technopark, the basics of laser cutting, 3d-modeling, and much more. The most interesting question for children was where find the money to implement ideas.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko told schoolchildren about grants and programs, realized by “Idea” in cooperation with the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in science and technology fields (FASIE), the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as programs and contests that are held by other structures, supported startups.
The most interesting program for children was a program “Idea-1000”, where is realized a special nomination “Youth Innovative Project”, it is for the initiative young people. Sergey Yushko explained that the winners of the nomination “Youth Innovative Project” can receive up to 400 thousand rubles for the implementation of their business ideas.
“Study the possibilities of the programs and participate in it. Then you learn how to write a business plan and draw up applications. That would be a small victory in your interesting and long way of the beginner entrepreneur”, - said Sergey Yushko.
During the visit schoolchildren were acquainted with the activity of the Centre for Youth Innovative Creativity where their coevals work with 3D-printers and learn the basics of 3D-scanning. “Orbital” participants were told about the specifics of work on laser cutting and laser engraving. The guys were acquainted with processes of creating three-dimensional images in the glass, engraving on complicated surfaces, marking details and producing three-dimensional figures on 3D-printers.

The Summer Profile Camp “Orbital” is a kind of summer school camp which combines the summer holidays and active lessons in the field of chemistry. In Kazan the camp is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with Kazan National Research Technological University and has been held since 1972. The camp’s program includes: lectures, electives work, and extensive sport and entertainment programs.
This year, the camp has been held in 43 times. Technopark “Idea” continues the tradition and in recent years it is one of its main organizers.
For all-time in the summer camp the active rest with deepening knowledge of natural sciences have been combined by over 10,000 students from all regions of the country. Union Rally of young chemists of the country (1977) and three International schools with participation of children from Germany, Bulgaria and Poland have been held on the basis of “Orbital”.
Among those, who has been engaged in the profile camp only in Kazan, are currently working Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences Oleg Sinyashin, corresponding member of RAS Vladimir Mironov, more than 25 professors of Kazan State Technological University (Kazan Chemical and Technological Institution), Kazan State University, Kazan State Medical University and Institution of Organic and Physical Chemistry named after A.E. Arbuzov. The prominent scientists of the country – academicians B.A. Arbuzov, A.V. Novoselova, I.A. Petryanov-Sokolov, M.I. Kabachnik, I.A. Tarchevsky, A.I. Konovalov, P.A. Kirpichnikov and I.S. Antipin –lectured to the schoolchildren.
