In May 12, 2007 rewarding ceremony of the contest «PERSPEKTIVA» took place in Technopark «Idea». 66 students took part in the finale, which was 25 students more, than in the last year contest.
During the recent 2 days students were presenting their projects to Expert Commission consist of representatives of Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan Republic, Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, Non-Commercial Organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE), Kazan State Technological University named by Tupolev.
It is worth to remind that the contest was organized by Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan Republic, Young scholars and specialists Organization of Tatarstan Republic and supported by Innovative Technopark “Idea”, State Non-profit Organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Inventors and Rationalizers Association of Tatarstan Republic, League of Students of Tatarstan Republic.
148 students took part in elimination round of the contest and presented 71 innovative scientific and technical projects of the following topics:
1. Information technologies (IT)
2. Applied chemistry. Chemical industry
3. Radio engineering and electronics
4. Aviation, aeronautics and cosmonautics
5. Motor transport
6. Shipbuilding
7. Energy and energy supply
8. Devices and instruments
9. Timber and woodworking industry
10. Construction and architecture
11. Medicine and health service
12. Preservation of the environment. Human ecology
13. Metrology. Standardization. Patent branch. Invention. Rationalization activity
14. Domestic trade. Tourist- excursion service
The contest «PERSPEKTIVA» is aimed at the involving young people to the scientific, technical and research work; finding out talented and gifted students and supporting them to self-determinate in future profession; stimulating students research-and-development activities and intellectual creative works by government; developing the cooperative and coordinative relations between the educational institutions and another fund and private organizations.
44 innovative projects were presented by students in the finale. Among the curators were also managers of Technopark “Idea”, members of Young scholars and specialists Organization of Tatarstan Republic and representatives of other Kazan institutes of higher education.
The rewarding ceremony of the contest «PERSPEKTIVA» was carried on by Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Republic Rais Shayhelislamov and general director of Innovative Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko.
“Tatarstan nowadays is the leading region of Russia in innovative sphere. That is why it is in extreme need of young talents and fresh ideas. The contest «PERSPEKTIVA» has demonstrated that we have such new ideas, which are worth to be supported” - Sergey Yushko said.
All the winners were rewarded with diplomas and valuable present. The Third Republican contest of innovative scientific and technical projects among students of educational institution «PERSPEKTIVA» is going to start in October 1, 2007.
