IV Annual International MEMS Forum 2014 “Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) today and tomorrow” was being held from 18 to 19 of June, 2014 in Kazan. The forum, devoted to technologies of the development and production of microsystems, testing and fields of MEMS application (land, aerospace and water), gathered more than 100 participants from different countries including representatives of Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Russia.
Director of Innovative Products, the company First Sensor AG (Germany), Doctor T. Time, Chief Executive Officer of Boschman Technologies B.V. (the Netherlands) F. Boschman, specialist of technical and economic analysis “Cascade Microtech” (Germany) S. Gissmann and many others acted with reports during the forum. Participants were able to assess the current level of microsystems development as well as look in the nearest future and define prospects of the development.
According to the organizers, the Annual MEMS Forum is a major event in Russia today, focused only on issues of the development, production and application of various devices on the basis of microelectromechanical systems, and also prospects for the development of Russian and global market of MEMS.
