Today 4 projects of Tatarstan Youth Innovation Creativity Centre’s students have been presented at the Russian Startup Tour. The second round of All-Russia programme on development and support of technological entrepreneurship, the Road Show of development institutes Russian Startup Tour has been held today at High Technology Park IT-Park in Kazan. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Mass Communications Minister Mark Shmulevich, Deputy Minister of Finance Andrey Ivanov, Advisor to the President of Skolkovo Foundation Pekka Viljakainen and Board Chairman of Skolkovo Foundation Andrey Burenin took part in the opening of Kazan Road Show round. After the official part, young innovators and IT-entrepreneurs presented their projects to the attention of competent award panel. The program was divided into five areas and included master classes, meetings with university professors and other things.
The YICC’s students from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Sabinsky region presented their projects at the pitch session “innokids” conducted with the support of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
Students of Kazan high-school, YICC “Idea” Roman Lisin and Konstantin Krotov told experts about the development of a new 3D-printer model, students of gymnasium No.19 Ilfat Magizov and Tagir Minazetdinov presented the project “Technology Services Development Centre”, representatives of Sabinskiy region – educational blocks.
Head of Naberezhnye Chelny YICC Pavel Aleksejevsky told about a press mold (matrix) complex for manufacturing professional model of F3G airframe.
Following the results of presentations, IT-Projects Director of Skolkovo Foundation Albert Efimov and Deputy Director General of “Pulsar Venture” Sergey Mitrofanov expressed wishes and advices due to which projects will be further improved.
Kazan round of Development Institutes Road Show “Russian Startup Tour” is a part of general programme that is held on January 20 – April 27, 2014 in 27 Russian cities - from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg. The purpose of Russian Startup Tour is to find long-term innovative projects that are in demand on the high-technology market, to give new momentum to the development of innovative entreprise in the regions, assist young developers to build effective strategies for their projects, and initiate the formation of entrepreneur communities and successful start-up teams.
The event was organized by Skolkovo Foundation, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Russian Venture Company, RUSNANO (the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs) with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication and Ministry of Economy. The opening of Russian Startup Tour round was attended by Russian Deputy Mass Communications Minister Mark Shmulevich, Deputy Minister of Finance Andrey Ivanov, Advisor to the President of Skolkovo Foundation Pekka Viljakainen and Board Chairman of Skolkovo Foundation Andrey Burenin and others.
