Rustam Minnikhanov has told about the Republic’s experience in enhancing the regional attractiveness for doing business. “All regions have quite a few flaws, we have things that need to be changed. But we do try to change,” Tatarstan’s chief executive said.
As Rustam Minnikhanov stated, Tatarstan had set up an investment board that examined large investment projects. Authorities’ consistent effort resulted in reducing the time of obtaining certain documents, lowering the utilities connection rates, and eliminating some other obstacles for businesses.
According to him, a municipal investment attractiveness standard will be implemented in Tatarstan in 2014. In the future, each municipality will have at least one infrastructure platform for small businesses.
