Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has taken part in the Open Innovations International Forum in Moscow. Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, RT Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, RT Minister of Health Adel Vafin, Aide to Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin have also been included in the delegation.
The republic's infrastructure projects - Innopolis, Chistopol Industrial Park, IT-Park, Nanotechnologies Centre, Smart City Kazan, regional engineering centres as well as information on other innovative projects have been presented at Tatarstan exposition.
Rustam Minnikhanov was shown a medical simulator made by Eidos, laser metalworking machines on the basis of IPG Photonics' fiber-optics lasers, as well as Eidos' newest solution - a robot that can analyze metalworking stamps state and create a laser recovery program independent of direct human control. This technology can cut the stamp recovery time at KAMAZ from two months to several hours, as well as increasing the amount of stamps liable for recovery.
According to the President's press service, Rustam Minnikhanov has also visited the Innopolis exhibition at the forum.
