Today Russian Minister of Economic Development Aleksei Ulyukaev has got acquainted with the activity of Technopark “Idea”, the Youth innovation Creativity Centre and the Nanotechnology Centre of the Republic of Tatarstan. Aleksei Ulyukaev visited Technopark in the company of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko told about the history of Technopark, work aspects with residents, and key performance indicators. Aleksei Ulyukaev, during the visit, expressed a special interest in the work of students of the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre "idea", created with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Sergey Yushko informed that Tatarstan had 10 YICCs with the involvement of about 500 students. Schoolchildren and students have the opportunity to implement their ideas using modern universal equipment.
Students of the YICC “Idea”, comprised of schoolchildren and students of Kazan universities, presented to Russian Minister of Economic Development their first product – a new generation 3D-printer. In the YICC the students created a printer from the printer: some parts of this printer were printed on another 3D-printer. The new 3D-printer model, compared with the existing models, shows the high printing speed, metal case, high quality as well as the simplicity and ease of use.
During the visit, Aleksei Ulyukaev has also been presented the development of students of the Sabinsky region YICC where the students have developed educational blocks using which children can playfully learn languages and school subjects. One student needs two blocks, one of which, for example, contains the author, and the other - the text. If the student correctly correlates the author and the text, then by combining two blocks, he can listen to the whole text.
General Director of one of the technopark’s infrastructure facilities - Nanotechnology Centre of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Pashin told about working aspects of laboratories and presented a few projects.
Aleksei Ulyukaev has arrived in Tatarstan today. First Minister visited the second largest city of the Republic of Tatarstan - Naberezhnye Chelny, where he got acquainted with the activity of KAMAZ, Kama Industrial Park "Master", Special Economic Zone "Alabuga".
Technopark “Idea” was the first place that Aleksei Ulyukaev visited in Kazan. During his visit in Kazan, he will also be acquainted with the activities of IT-Park, and then take part in a meeting on development of innovative infrastructure in Tatarstan and interaction of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
