On August 26, 2013, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov and the RT Business Ombudsman Timur Nagumanov signed a Memorandum on Cooperation for the Entrepreneur Right Protection.
According to the document, the parties made an Agreement on Cooperation for the organization in the Republic of Tatarstan an advice to small and medium-sized enterprises in the protection of their rights and legitimate interests.
The Memorandum provides that the parties will jointly organize short-term training programs for entrepreneurs, create the conditions for the preparation of draft regulations and legislative initiatives in the field of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as to conduct surveys of the business community about their satisfaction with the results of their complaints and appeals.
According to Midhat Shagiakhmetov, the Memorandum will coordinate and formalize the executing joint activity to implement the main task – the creation of conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan.
As explained by Business Ombudsman of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Memorandum enhances the ability to protect the entrepreneur rights. “We, jointly with the RT Ministry of Economy, will organize a permanent visiting hours for entrepreneurs throughout the republic on a regional basis. We have identified eight regional points in Tatarstan, where any entrepreneur can come and leave his appeals with all available documents. Territorial receptions are not limited interaction with me, now I get the majority of appeals by e-mail. The main objective - improving the business climate entirely in the country”, - said Timur Nagumanov.
