The third final round of the V Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite” will be held on May the 16th, 2013, in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Contest will involve 265 students of 7-11 grades from 27 regions of Tatarstan.
The “Tatarstan Erudite” aims to support creative and intellectually gifted children, identify the level of general knowledge of students, degree of their competency.
The contest is held in three rounds. Students of the Republican schools have taken part in the qualifying round of the contest, and the winners of which have been selected to the second round where they answered 100 questions in 100 minutes in basic school subjects.
The third final round – oral. The winners will be awarded degree of “Junior Academician” and “Laureates for V Republican contest “Tatarstan Erudite-2013” in two age categories: 7-9 grades and 10-11 grades. Junior academicians and laureates for “Erudite-2013” will be awarded prizes and gifts from the contest’s general sponsor - JSC “Vympelkom”. The authors of the best answers in the nomination “Nano-IQ” will be awarded special gifts from Technopark “Idea”.
The Contest is organized by Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan (Volga) Federal University (KFU), Tatar Republican Youth Public Fund “Selet”, Innovational and production Technopark “Idea” and Academic Lyceum named by N. I. Lobachevsky.
