Round table on “Creation and development of Youth Innovation Creativity Centres Network in the Russian Federation” will be held on April the 25th, 2013, at 16:00, in Technopark “Idea”. The round table discussion will be attended by Director of the Department of Small and Medium Business and Competition of the RF Ministry of Economic Development Natalia Larionova, First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, Executive Director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia Ivan Bortnik, General Director of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Chief of the Department of Business Support Rustem Sibgatullin, YICCs representatives from Tatarstan and Russia.
The Round table participants will discuss such issues as the involvement of young people in scientific and technical creativity and innovation, Russia and regional support of YICC’s Network, and features of its operation in the Republic.
The guests will visit Russia’s first Youth Innovation Creativity Centre “Idea”. In addition, the delegation headed by Natalia Larionova will take part in the official opening of YICC in Zelenodolsk and gymnasium No.19 in Kazan.
To the point, the Republic of Tatasrtan has become one of the 13 regions of winners with localization of over 30 Youth Innovation Creativity Centres. Ten Centres are operated in the Republic, three centres of which are located in Kazan, by one in Zelenodolsk, Chistopol, Leninogorsk, Bugulma, Naberezhnye Chelny, in Drozhannoe and Bogatye Saby rural areas.
Russia’s first official opening of the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre (YICC “Idea”) was held at Innovative Technopark “Idea”, Kazan, on February the 27th, 2013. This day the main targeted audience – children had been presented the opportunity to see the true functions of the Center’s equipment, test it in operating mode and see the results of their efforts.
