Mikhail Babich has arrived in Kazan on a working visit. First of all, Mikhail Babich accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Technopark “Idea” and the Center of Nanotechnology.
General Director of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko told about the activity of one of the most successful technoparks in Russia, the principles of business incubator “Sviyaga”, established in 2006 under the federal programme of business incubators creation and development in the Russian Federation. Start-up companies are located in business incubator on favorable lease terms, and are provided with a wide range of services required for the business development. With the assistance of Technopark’s specialists start-up companies develop, receive grants and bank loans, and, finally, within two or three years small companies grow and leave the Technopark. According to Sergey Yushko, last year emerging companies had created 755 new jobs.
Mikhail Babich asked Sergey Yushko about appraisal of startup companies’ prospects. According to General Director of Technopark, the “Idea” cooperates closely with organizers of various international technology contests, i.e., the panel estimates projects and assigns grants. The Technopark specialists help first-time entrepreneurs to successfully present their projects before experts.
Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District has also visited laboratories of the Nanotechnology Center, founded under the auspices of JSC “RUSNANO”. State-of-the-art equipment and advanced projects of Tatarstan developers in the sphere of nanoindustry were presented to Mikhail Babich.
Today Technopark “Idea” has also been attended by the First Vice Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexander Torshin, Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Titov, Vice Chairman of State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs” (Vnesheconombank)” irina Makieva, Vice President of the All-Russian Public Organization “Business Russia” Alexander Osipov and Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Russian Federation Sergey Darkin.
