Within the context of the forum as a global discussion platform, the representatives of business, authority and scientific community within three days will discuss the global trends in the sphere of innovation and advanced high technology. About 4 thousand guests to be attended in the forum.
“First persons” expressed their interest in the modernization of the country at the plenary session of the forum. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev promised that the Russian Government will support innovative initiatives in the regions.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, giving speech at the panel discussion “Regional specifics for innovative business”, highlighted the importance of innovative infrastructure development and support as well as education and scientific environment to promote innovations in the region.
On the role of investment and dotation in the development of technopark structures has been spoken at the panel discussion “Innovative infrastructure. Investment VS dotation”. Executive Director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) Ivan Bortnik spoke in the capacity of moderator of the discussion. CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko took part in this section as well, and shared the experience of “Technopark” project in the light of its performance evaluation as per the European standards. To the point, Innovative Technopark “Idea” is a full member of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) since 2010, and the unique in Russia. The Technopark renders advices to technopark structures of some Russian regions on compliance of business practices to quality standards.
Technopark “Idea” demonstrated the infrastructure of the Nanotechnology Centre – laboratories with analytical and technological equipment at the exhibition of the Republic of Tatarstan. Official opening of the Nanotechnology Centre (the Centre of Nanotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan) will be held on November 27, 2012, as was announced by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to the participants of the forum.
Exposition of the Republic of Tatarstan demonstrates nanotech projects of the leading Kazan universities, as well as major republican infrastructure projects, such as the city of “Innopolis”, Technopolis “Himgrad”, Innovative Technopark “Idea”.
In addition, anyone can personally operate any human organ in the Tatarstan exhibition. The most popular operation among the attenders of the republican stand was gallbladder removal operation. The results of “TechUspeh” rating, organized by JSC “RVC”, the Fund of Bortnik, FIEP RUSNANO and SME Bank were summarized at the opening of the forum “Open Innovations”. The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) was the rating operator. Such a rating was held in Russia for the first time. The rating was aimed to make the companies recognizable in the domestic and foreign markets by professionals and experts as well as by ordinary consumers and clients. The rating involved the most high-developing innovative high-tech companies, which form the “Technological” segment of the Russian middle class. CJSC “Danaflex”, a resident company of Technopolis “Himgrad”, made the list of the TOP-30 Best Russian Innovative Companies.
