There were discussed questions about cooperation with Switzerland in sphere of innovative business in Technopark “Idea”.

The director of Department of canton economic development Zurich Stephan Kuks and the director of Swiss foreign investments agency Francisc Holzgang visited Technopark “Idea”.

The main objective of a visit to republic was preparation to the annual Russian-Swiss Business Summit which takes place in Kazan in October, 2007.

The planned Forum is called to become the important step on a way of intensification of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation. Switzerland is an old and one of the most stable Russian partners. Last year there was executed hundred years from the date of the basis of the first embassy inSwitzerland and 190 years from the date of organization of the first representation of this state in Russia.

Many opportunities for the organization and realization of business projects will be shown at the Summit,  subjects concerning assistance with the Swiss companies and such subjects as business in Switzerland will be also discussed at the Summit. Russian businessmen, Russian banks and insurance companies, the companies, which wish to reach the international level and others are going to take part at this Summit.

Now two states get in touch for the preparation of carrying out the Summit, and first of all, organizers examine potential objects for this activity.

Visitors  become interested in cooperation and development of constant business relations in sphere of innovative business with Technopark  "Idea".

The general director of Technopark Sergey Yushko made a presentation of technopark for visitors ,acquainted them with the main work of Technopark and its results. Minister of Trade and External Economic Cooperation of Republic of Tatarstan (MTEEC RT) Hafis Salihov and the first deputy minister of MTEEC RT Linar Latypov took part in this meeting. After presentation visitors examined Federal business-incubator "Sviyaga" and  got acquainted with activity of the companies working in its territory.
