Meeting of the Expert Council on selection of business projects to provide grants to small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan for development of innovation and technological modernization of production in the republic on the “start-up small innovative companies” is being held today from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. in the Conference Hall of Technopark “Idea”.
Start-up small innovative companies may receive grants of 500 000 rubles, but not more than 85% of the total cost of the business project.
Only 90 applications for grants of 500 000 rubles on the “start-up small innovative companies” were received by the results of the second Competitive Selection in the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. Today, the project authors are to personally present their projects to the members of the Expert Council.
It should be noted that the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency proposed to the Expert Council an open voting on the defence of the business projects “Innovation and Technological Modernization”. However, representatives of the Expert Council rejected the proposal. Every member of the Expert Council, in the process of defence of the business projects, fixes his opinion on each of the projects. Upon completion of the Meeting of the Expert Council on defence of the business projects under the program “Innovation and Technological Modernization” for the start-up small innovative companies, the votes of the Expert Council Members will be counted and the results will be set up on the web site of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency tida.tatarstan.ru or on the portal of small and medium-sized enterprises biz.tatarstan.ru.

In addition, the defence of the projects to receive a grant of 5 million rubles to the existing small innovative companies will be held on September the 18th, from 09:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. in the Conference Hall of Technopark “Idea”.
