The 13th meeting of the Advisory Board on support and development of small businesses in the countries – CIS members took place from the 6th to the 7th of October. It was organized by the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tadjikistan and Ukraine. Among the guests there were director of the Department of small and medium businesses of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Natalya Larionova, Deputy Chairman of Group of Companies “Bank for Development & Foreign Economic Affairs” Mikhail Kopeikin, Director of SME Finance Department JSC “Bank of SME” Mikhail Afanasiev, Director of Department of Promotion of Business and Innovative Activity of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia Mikhail Vyshegorodtsev, Head of the International Cooperation Department of Small and Medium Business of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Igor Korelsky.
The first day of the Board activity was devoted to consideration of small business financing issues, Director of Department of Promotion of Business and Innovative Activity of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia Mikhail Vyshegorodtsev told about institutions of small business support. Also the delegates of the Advisory Board discussed the experience, problems and perspectives of technology parks and business incubators.
In conclusion of the Board activity it was reported about the interstate innovative cooperation program till 2020 and about the state of small businesses in the countries participants of CIS.
Visiting of the business incubator “Sviyaga” situated on the territory of Technopark “Idea” was a part of business program. The guests familiarized with the infrastructure for small businesses development support as well as with the activities of the business incubator residents.
The company “Tatarmultfilm”, based in the business incubator for the second year, showed the visitors how highly artistic animation works are created. The company “Eidos”, that produces simulators and interactive systems for training specialists in various fields of human activity, presented its latest developments: car simulator, navigation simulator and tactical simulator for Emergency Situations Ministry. In addition the guests got acquainted with the activities of the state measuring tools testing centre “STP” and IT company Smarthead, whose clients are such brands as Honda, Danone, Vichy etc.
