Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed today in RT Government House. The document was signed by General Director of Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti Lauri Yulestalo, Director of National program of Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti Mari Pantsar-Kallio and General Director of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko.
President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Minister of Environment of Finland Hannele Pokka attended the signing ceremony.
The opening of Innovative Technology Centre “InnoTAT” in the territory of Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti as well as representative office of Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti in the territory of Innovational production Technopark “Idea” is scheduled in 2012 under this Agreement with a view to establish and develop innovation infrastructure in both republics, to form information exchange system in the innovation development area, to implement joint competitive projects and its further commercialization in the Republic of Tatarstan and Finland and also to organize joint industry enterprises, particularly, in the field of environmental protection and effective use of waste.
In addition, the Project of Nanoscale Technologies Centre “Idea” on the basis of Technopark “Idea” will provide the opportunity to implement joint projects with Finnish partners in the Ecology and Environment, joint use of equipment and employment of the Nanocentre experts.
The delegation of the Republic of Finland headed by Deputy Minister of Environment of Finland Hannele Pokka is in the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit from October 5, 2011 to October 7, 2011. The Mayor of Lahti Mr. Jyrki Myllyvirta, Chief Advisor of Ministry of Environment of Finland Martti Poutanen are also members of the delegation.
The Program of the Finnish delegation visits includes attendance of Ministry of Industry and Trade of RT, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of RT, the Universiade Village and others.
It should be reminded that Memorandum of Understanding between Technopark “Idea” and Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti regarding the Environmental, Energy Technology and associated Innovation Systems was signed on January 20, 2009.
The Agreement between the LLC “Innovative Technological Park “Idea-South-East””, Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti and “Pajakulma Oy” Company (“Pajakulma”, Finland) concerning the Project of attached implements producing for “KAMAZ” trucks as well as training of Tatarstan specialists was signed on March 25, 2011.
The second Agreement was signed between Technology Park “Idea-South-East”, Innovative Technology Centre of Lahti (Finland) and Peilituote Ltd. Company (Finland) concerning the assembling of side-view mirror for “KAMAZ” vehicles in the Republic of Tatarstan. Both of the projects will be implemented within the “Clean-Tech” of ЕВN.
