Within the project of the Nanoscale Technology Centre, the Technopark “Idea” dispatched personnel of the research and development department to the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa) on 5 months training courses on the Program “Development and modeling of micro-electro-mechanical systems” (MEMS/NEMS).
Specialists will get access to the unique research and technological equipment, clean rooms and also will be involved in the current research of scientific groups and the intellectual property protection technology resulting from research.
Total duration of the course is 642 hours (428 hours - lecture course, 214 hours - practical course).
The training course includes as follows:
- Micro (nano) electromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS) course;
- Microelectronics in clean rooms (cleaning the silicon wafer, reactive ion etching of silicon, silicon oxide and metals, thin-film deposition process);
- Porous silicon technology – liquid and vapor phase of etching;
- Modeling – project on modeling and training”COMSOL Multiphysics”;
- Optical systems;
- Explosives detection, project “Artificial nose”;
- Operation with various software packages designed for modeling, analysis in various areas of physics and engineering.
Financing of the training course is carried out jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan within the Program for the grant of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for training, retraining and teaching of citizens in the Russian and foreign educational and scientific organizations of “Algarysh”.

The Technion Diploma offers the graduates the opportunity to cooperate in the largest and well-known Israeli and international Companies.
The Technion is famous for its work in electronics, biotechnology, IT, water resources and engineering management in the aerospace. In priority, the Technion jointly with American Technology Association has created the Research Centre Network in the following areas: software, genetic engineering, aerospace, composite materials, neurology.
