Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan announce the beginning of the applications reception to participate in the VII Republican Contest “The top 50 innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan. The contest includes projects focused on the solution of problems of scientific and technical, economic, social and humanitarian development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Individuals from the Republic of Tatarstan, regions of the Russian Federation and foreign residents are invited to participate in the Contest.
In view of the Contest’s increasing popularity and increase in the number of missions of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the number of projects to the Contest has been multiplied (in 2005 - 490 projects, in 2010 – 1503 projects). This year the number of the “Perspective” category winners will be increased to 10 awards, “Innovation in Education” – to 10 awards, “The best invention of the year” – to 10 awards.
A new category of the Contest “Projects of the Association of Russian Innovative Regions” for 10 awards has been introduced in 2011. The Applicant’s projects from the regions of the Association of Russian Innovative Regions (the Novosibirsk Region, the Tomsk Region, the Republic of Mordovia, Krasnoyarsk and Perm Territories, Irkutsk and Kaluga Region) will be admitted to participate in this Contest category.
The Contest date:
· I stage: from April 1, 2011 till October 14, 2011 – involvement, admission, registration and pre-examination of applications for the participation in the Contest;
· II stage: from October 15, 2011 till November 30, 2011 – examination and selection of projects;
· III stage: from December 01, 2011 till December 30, 2011 – approval of results and awarding of the Contest’s winners.
Applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan, regions of the Russian Federation and foreign residents can submit documents to the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan or at location of the Fund’s Representative office or dispatch the Contest material at address: the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan (postal address: Bauman Str. 20, Kazan, 420111, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation) until the end of the first stage of the Contest (October 14, 2011, 18:00 Moscow time).
