The investment agreements, concluded by RUSNANO with the investors and the participants of future Centers of Nanotechnology, establish the overall volume of projects financing, allocation of rights and duties within the framework of projects implementation as well as the highlights which should be reached during the performance of Nanotechnology centers. Furthermore, the investment agreements established the authority of the Corporation as the financial investor in terms of control and monitoring over equipment use and rendered services conditions to the innovative companies and entrepreneurs within the framework of current Centers activity.
Evgeniy Evdokimov, the Managing Director of the Department for Infrastructure Development, at the end of the investment agreements signing mentioned that such form of infrastructure project implementation in innovative sphere is used for the first time, moreover, the private investors of such projects should be an important factor having the positive impact on the project efficiency.
The total value of assets, involved in projects implementation of Nanotechnology centers creation, amounts more than 11 billion rubles, the investments of Corporation amounts 5 billion rubles.
The concept of RUSNANO Nanotechnology centers creation – the creation of infrastructure complex for commercialization of nanotechnology products was approved by the supervisory board of the corporation in October, 2009. The document provides the creation of nation nanotechnology centers network based on the network of public federal centers and scientific and research centers which are established according to the federal target program «Development of Nanoindustry Infrastructure for the period of 2008-2010», as well as the existing objects of the innovative infrastructure.
