The main goal of the Turkish delegation, which included 28 people, was to introduce the economic and political potential of Kazan. The guests arrived in Kazan on Saturday and during that time they had time to see the capital of Tatarstan. In addition the Turkish delegation took part in a working meeting held at the Consulate General of Turkey in Kazan.
During a meting with the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin it was noted on the eve that the relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and Turkey are developing dynamically. Kazan had already had the honor o f visiting President of Turkey Abdulla Gyul. During this meeting it was achieved a number of agreements, which are now successfully realizing. This suggests that our relations between our countries are actively developing, especially in business and tourism. Graphic confirmation of this is lack of regular flights plying between Tatarstan and Turkey.
“This is my first visit in Kazan. I really like it. You have beautiful architectural constructions. We came to introduce experience of Russian businessmen. Every year about 2-3 million Russian tourists visit Turkey, and many of them are people of Kazan. However we don’t intend to stop there. Soon we will arrange direct flights from Antalya to Kazan. Come visit us in the winter, and we'll come to you in the summer "- suggested Mustafa Akaydyn. Recall that last month at the invitation of Ilsur Metshin Kazan was visited by a delegation from Turkeyheaded by the Mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbashem.
During the visit of the delegation in Innovative Technopark “Idea” representatives of business circles of the Turkish Republic acquainted with the basic directions of development of innovation economy of Tatarstan, its advanced projects and prospects in the coming years. In particular, special interest was expressed for the project of the creation of Center of Nanoscaletechnology, planned for implementation in the framework of the contest, which was established by State Corporation “Rusnano”.
