The First National Youth Forum was held at the sport base "Peaceful Ministry of Home Affairs of Tatarstan Republic” on the 27th of June. The event brought together the authors of innovative projects, as well as young entrepreneurs, the members of the delegation of 
The Forum was visited by President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Republic Albert Gilmutdinov, Minister of Youth affairs, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov, Chairman of Small and Medium-size Enterprises Development Committee Timur Shagivaleev, Director of Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Republic Aynur Aydeldinov and others.
Innovative exhibition within the Youth Forum was aimed to the selection of projects that will represent the Republic at the Forum "Seliger-2010". More than 200 projects, 70 of which were approved by the experts, took part in the Forum.
The President were presented a few innovative projects, among which are "polymer bandage", "Melaphen", a device for detecting breaks in transmission lines, "Pulmoskrin", as well as several youth business projects.
The representatives of the Innovation development Club took active part in the Forum. Ramil Kuleev, which had already participated in the Forum "Seliger-2009", described the software package for logging of medical X-ray images "Pulmoskrin"; Vasil Zakiev described the plant growth accelerator "Melaphen”. Chairman of the Club Constantin Mikryukov introduced the President of Tatarstan Republic with the activities of the Innovation development Club.
Innovation development Club was established on the 1st of August, 2009, initiated by Innovative Technopark "Idea". It includes the winners of the Program "IDEA-1000" on nomination “Youth innovative project”.
Rustam Minnikhanov valued the level of all the projects highly and expressed confidence in a decent representation of the republic at the upcoming All-Russian Forum "Seliger-2010.
