The modern market of educational services is multiversion and diverse. Different institutes of higher education of Russian regions offer a large variety of specialties and specializations, as well as many educational programs and forms of studying. The choice of specialization made by students is depend on such factors as: prestigious of profession, demand of chosen job, job placement success after graduation from the institute. Under the current labor market conditions it is not enough to prepare a good specialist in a certain area, it is necessary to develop a special educational practical program, a special set of services that will be aimed to promote social and professional adaptation of graduates after high schools to the rapidly changing economic and labour conditions.
That is why the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of RT, the Republic Center of student labour units of RT and Innovative Technopark "Idea" has developed a new socially significant project named "Big Training”.
The key objects of the project “Big Training» include:
• Social and professional adaptation of Kazan students and graduates thought the development of certain skills and personal qualities;
• Creating an effective collaboration between the active trained students of various specialties and commercial structures.
Within the bounds of this project 65 students of Kazan institutes of higher education, selected by qualified psychologists, participated in number of educational training courses, practical contests on doing different business-cases from project partners and in other events.
After educational and practical stage of the project 25 most active and promising students were selected for further participation in the final, which will include the given procedure. The students-finalists have to present themselves and do a business-case from the general partner of the project; partner companies, in turn, have to evaluate student’s presentations and business decisions and invite them to undergo training in their companies.
As a result of this project the winners will undergo 1-3 months training from July to September 2010 at the different job positions in sales, marketing, personnel evaluation, production, accounting, analytics, advertising, commerce, quality assessment, production departments (according to their specializations) in the following partner companies of the project: Group of companies «Sigal», Private Pension Fund "Pravo", Kazan branch of URALSIB Bank, “Altyn Tal +” Company, Technopolis "Himgrad”, LLC “Interbridge Travel" and others.
