Collective application of Innovative Technopark “Idea” together with Central Research Institute of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Geolnerud”, Institution of Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry named after A.E. Arbuzov of Kazan Scientific Center RAS, OJSC “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, Institution of Russian Academy of Sciences Kazan physical and technical institute named after E.K. Zavoisky of Kazan Scientific Center RAS, State Educational Institution of Higher Education “The Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation”, “Izvarino Pharma” LLC, CJSC “Nuran”, State Center for testing of measuring instruments “STP” LLC, “Gorodissky and Partners” LLC won first open contest of selecting projects for the creation of nanotechnological centers in the Russian Federation whish was held by State Corporation “Rusnano”.

Results of the first open contest of selecting projects for the creation of nanotechnological centers which was held by State Corporation “Rusnano” were announced on March 26, 2010 . The winners of the contest are:

“Nanotechnological center Idea in Kazan”;
“Multifunctional nanotechnological center “Dubna”;
“Nano- and micro system technics” (Zelenograd);
“Multi disciplinary nanotechnological center “Sigma” (Novosibirsk, Tomsk)

The winners of the contest were selected by the competitive commission on the results of scientific, technical and investment examination. According to RUSNANO experts teams of these projects have sufficient professional knowledge and experience in commercializing scientific research results and relevant financial, personnel and others necessary resources and also they are supported by regional administrations.

The winners will get the right to conclude an investment agreement with RUSNANO on the project realization for the creating of nanotechnological centers.

The contest was held within the bounds of conception of nanotechnological centers creating of RUSNANO which are infrastructure complexes intended for commercialization of nanotechnological development. This conception was approved by supervisory board of the corporation on October, 2009.

This document provides for the formation of nanotechnological centers network in the country based on the network of the federal centers of collective use and scientific-educational centers that are created within the bounds of the federal target program “Development of nanoindustry infrastructure in 2008-2010” and also existing objects of innovative infrastructure.

The key feature of RUSNANO nanotechnological centers is a concentration in one place of technological equipment and skills of incubation of small innovative companies (marketing, management and information support).

RUSNANO plans to invest in funding nanotechnological centers in all 19 milliard rubles. The average estimated value of the investments by the corporation in each center will be about 1 milliard rubles.
