Today second contest round of the First Republic contest “Erudite – 2009” was held in Academy of Sciences of RT at 10 o’clock.
The Republic contest “Erudite – 2009” is a joint project of Ministry of education and science of RT, Academy of Sciences of RT, Innovative Technopark “Idea”, Tatar state humanist and teacher’s training institute. Co-organizers of the contest are Kazan Scientists House of Academy of Sciences of RT, Republic Youth centre “Salet”, Soviet of young scientists and specialists of RT, Academic lyceum named after N.I. Lobachevsky.
The contest is held with purpose of search and support of creative and gifted children, detection of general erudition level of students, development of students’ interest to science and demand to knowledge extend.
943 schoolboys of 7-11 classesses from 30 districts of Tatarstan and all Kazandistricts took part at first round of the Contest which was held on the 25th of April at Tatar state humanist and teacher’s training institute.
The second round “Tournament of erudites” was held in verbal form, schoolboys demonstrated their knowledge on questions which were prepared by academic institutes of Academy of Scientists RT.
In addition to second round contest “There is interesting idea for Republic ofTatarstan” was held for all comers. Schoolboys introduced their ideas via presentation.
Next projects were presented to the contest “There is interesting idea forRepublic of Tatarstan”: “The system of school central heating”, “Alternative energy”, “My opinion about development of economy and culture of Tatarstan”, “Dust processing plants of RT”, “Indicator of heat carrier level of broadened open model tank of heating system” and “Plant of ecological machines production”.
The project “Alternative energy” of schoolboys from Naberezhny Chelny was the most interesting and perspective project.
