Visit of the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Republic Singapore in RF.

Earlier the meeting of the minister of industry and trade of RT Ravil Zaripov with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Republic Singapore in the Russian Federation Mr. Simon Tensing De Cruise has taken place. The parties have communicated, have discussed possible directions of cooperation, the presentation of industrial potential of Tatarstan has taken place.

In the meeting deputy minister of industry and trade RТ Linar Latypov, representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Kazan Radik Vahitov, Second Secretary of Embassy Laj Jing Jip and others have taken part.

Mr. Simon Tensing De Cruise has informed that for the first time he has visited Russia all half a year back when has been appointed by the Ambassador. «Someone told me that Moscow is not Russia, it is necessary to visit regions to learn the country. And to one of the first have recommended to visit Tatarstan», - the Plenipotentiary Ambassador has noted. It also has shared impressions of visiting "Alabuga", KIP "Master", "Nizhnekamskneftehim" OJSC, "Taneko" OJSC which have taken place yesterday.

«We are interested in innovations and technologies, in diversification of our economy that we could resist to world economic problems are better. The purpose of my visit is most to see and understand, in what else areas Singapore and Tatarstan» can co-operate, - he has underlined.

Mr. Simon Tensing De Cruise has informed also that in September, 2009 the next Russian-Singapore business forum is planned, and he has invited businessmen to visit him. «We wish to impart experience, I think, it is useful to you!» - the Ambassador summarized.
