The startup marathon ended in the Technopark “Idea”. For 11 days, experts have studied 358 projects developed by students of universities from 11 regions of the Volga Federal District. In total, the developments were presented in 6 nominations. For each nomination, the organizers selected specialized mentors from various development institutes (Skolkovo Foundation, Innopolis), enterprises (Technopark “Idea”, Tatneft, KAMAZ, ICL, Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, Tatkhimpharmpreparaty), universities, as well as medium and small businesses.
As Oleg Ibragimov, CEO of the Technopark “Idea”, noted, Tatarstan was among the regions with the largest number of applications submitted: “Student Startup is a new programme of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE). Despite the fact that the project is being implemented for the first time, the level of work of the participants is quite high. During the defense, the experts evaluated the projects – scientific developments and gave recommendations to the participants. Later in Moscow, FASIE will determine a list of winners,” Ibragimov explained.
In total, 1,000 winners will be selected within the framework of the programme in 2022, who will receive 1 million rubles each for the implementation of their project. It is planned that the results of the first stage of project selection will be announced at the end of June 2022. The second stage of accepting applications for the competition is currently underway. Applications are accepted until June 30, 2022 in the online system of FASIE.
