Applications for a contest “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan” in 2021 are being accepted. The prize fund will be 14 million rubles.
Projects aimed at solving the problems of scientific, technical, economic, social and humanitarian development of the Republic of Tatarstan are accepted for participation in competitive selections.
The competition will be held in 9 nominations:
Within the framework of the Competition, an expert selection of projects will also be held to encourage prizes and scholarships from the partners of the competition: ОАО “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, AO “Svyazinvestneftekhim”, ПАО “Ak Bars” Bank, AO “Himgrad”, Charitable Foundation of ПАО “Tatneft” and ГАУ “Technopark in the field of high technologies “IT-Pak”.
According to the results of the Competition, depending on the nomination, winners will be awarded personal prizes and scholarships from the partners of the Competition from 5,000 to 30,000 rubles, as well as awards and targeted funding from the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan from 25,000 to 220,000 rubles.
Applications are accepted until October 15, 2021 inclusive on the website of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in electronic form https://apply.ivfrt.ru/send-50 or on purpose in one of the 19 representative offices of the Competition (detailed information is available on the website https://www.ivfrt.ru/programms/50-luchshikh-idey /).
The competition is a mechanism for involving young people in solving issues of the development of the innovative economy in the Russian Federation, as well as it is one of the mechanisms for training a personnel reserve for scientific organizations and enterprises of the real sector of the country’s economy. The experience of the Competition demonstrates an increase in the level of implementation of projects at enterprises of Tatarstan, and as a result, the possibility of their scaling and commercialization. The projects of the participants get the opportunity to unlock the potential of a project or idea, revise the future business model, assess the prospects and technological novelty, through the expert evaluation of the judging committee and mentoring assistance of the organizers and partners of the Competition.
In December 2020, the final of the XVI competition took place - 175 applicants out of 1,934 participants received prizes, scholarships and funds for the development of a project, the prize fund was 14 million rubles. Over the entire history, more than 23,500 applicants took part in the competition, of which more than 2,300 became winners and were supported.
Please note that before participating in the competition, projects with documents confirming the implementation or intention to implement developments at enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan are accepted, with the exception of the nominations “Perspective”, “Innovations in Education”, “Projects of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia” and “Youth Innovation Project”.
THE MAIN CRITERIA OF COMPETITIVE SELECTION
TERMS AND STAGES OF THE COMPETITION
Stage I (January 1 - October 15, 2021): acceptance, registration and preliminary examination of projects for compliance with the requirements are carried out at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Representative Offices of the IVF of the Republic of Tatarstan, applications received after October 15, 2021 will participate in the next year’s competitive procedures;
Stage II (October 16 - November 30, 2021): examination and selection of projects;
Stage III (December 1 - December 31, 2021): approval of the results of the Competition and awarding of the winners.
