On June 24, 2021 winners were determined in the second nomination “Perspective innovative project” of the III annual republican industry competition for innovative projects of young scientists “Science and Business”.
In total, the competition brought together students, graduate students, young scientists from Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU), Nizhnekamsk Institute of Chemistry and Technology (NCTI is a branch of KNRTU), Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KNRTU-KAI), Kazan State Power Engineering University (KSPEU), Almetyevsk State Oil Institute (ASOI), Kazan Federal (Volga region) University (KFU). The event was held online at the ZOOM platform.
8 projects were admitted to the face-to-face stage of the nomination. The works were evaluated by an expert jury, which included: Head of the Innovation Development Service of the Association “Innokam” Alexandra Kartashova, Deputy General Director for Innovation of the “Production association “Zarnitza” Alexander Potapov, Managing Partner of “Soprano Capital” Artem Naumov, Head of the Department of educational and project activities of KNRTU students Marina Vasilyeva, Head of the Department for the development of innovative programmes of the Technopark “Idea” Farida Gainullina.
Prizes in the nomination “Perspective innovative project” were awarded to:
The 1st place - Stanislav Kuzin (KNRTU) with a project “Development of an electrical complex of a group of asynchronous motors with an optimal distribution of reactive power of compensating devices”.
The 2nd place - Denis Ivanov (KNRTU-KAI) with a project “Development of a prototype of a digital twin of an electric network of 6/10-0.4 kV electrical network based on a mathematical model based on the PSS®SINCAL software package”.
The 3rd place - Chulpan Garifullina (ASOI) with a project “Development of a method for utilizing carbon dioxide with the generation of environmentally friendly energy carriers (hydrogen, hydrocarbons) during the interaction of carbonized water with metal-containing fillers”.
Within the framework of the competition, a semi-final event was held under the programme “UMNIK” of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE). 8 projects that reached the final of the competition “UMNIK” will compete for a grant in the amount of 500 thousand rubles in November this year.
The annual competition “Science and Business” is held by the Innovative and Production Technopark “Idea”, KNRTU, NCTI KNRTU and the Kama Innovative Territorial Production Cluster. The competition partner was the Production Association “Zarnitza”.
