Tire materials with the use of nanotechnologies are characterized by resistance to thermal influences reduced heat dissipation during friction, which helps to reduce fuel consumption and the level of carbon dioxide emissions by motor vehicles. Tires made from nanotechnology materials last on average 30% longer. The importance of such innovations for the country’s automotive industry justifies the need to develop projects of professional qualifications of specialists for conducting independent qualification assessment procedures, contributing to the provision of enterprises with qualified personnel.
To increase the availability and popularization of independent qualification assessment, on the initiative of Non-profit Partnership “Intersectoral Association of Nanoindustry”, projects of 7 professional qualifications and qualification requirements have been developed, for compliance with which the independent qualification assessment in the field of tire materials production using nanotechnology is carried out.
On June 3, 2021 the Qualification Assessment Centre of the Technopark “Idea” held a series of expert webinars to discuss projects of professional qualifications of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th levels of qualifications of the professional standard “Specialist of technical support for the production of tire materials using nanotechnology”, and projects of professional qualifications of the 4th, 6th and 7th levels of qualifications of the professional standard “Specialist in the technology of production of tire materials with the use of nanotechnology”.
The discussion was attended by representatives of the project office of Non-profit Partnership “Intersectoral Association of Nanoindustry”, “Komsomolskaya Pravda Plastic Processing Plant”, Molecular Electronics Research Institute (JSC MERI), Autonomic Non-profit Organization “Nanocertifica”, Federal Government-financed Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Vyatka State University” (FGEI HPE “VyatSU”), Production complex “Kirov Tire” (Pirelli tire plant), R&D Center “Intire” (tire holding “Cordiant”), and Kirov Tire Plant.
