The winners of the XVI republican competition “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan” were congratulated today in Kazan.
1,934 applicants from Tatarstan and 22 cities of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Nakhodka, etc., took part in the XVI republican competition. In 2020, the competition passed all organizational stages online, starting from the submission of applications before hearing and examination.
This year, the industry leaders in terms of the number of applications were education, information and telecommunication systems, ecology, nature management, food industry and biotechnology. According to the results of the competition 175 participants received prizes, scholarships and grants in nine nominations from 5 to 220 thousand rubles. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented certificates of honor and cups to the winners in the nomination “Perspective”, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin took part in honoring the winners in the nomination “Start of Innovation”, the award ceremony was attended by official partners and heads of the largest industrial enterprises of Tatarstan: ОАО “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, ОАО “Svyazinvestneftekhim”, ОАО “Ak Bars Bank”, ОАО “Himgrad”, ПАО “Tatneft”, IT-park, investors and business angels of Russia.
Oleg Ibragimov, CEO of Technopark “Idea”, congratulated the winners of the program “UMNIK” of the Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere in the nomination “Youth Innovative Project”. In total, there are 40 winners in the category. Each of the winners will receive 220,000 rubles.
The Foundation and partners of the competition are confident that young scientists and developers are the future of Russia, and their ideas and solutions will help strengthen the national economy and adequately represent the country on the international market.
The organizers of the competition are the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
