A new edition of the professional standard “Specialist in standardization of innovative products of the nanoindustry” (http://www.tpidea.ru/page145) was approved by Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia on September 22, 2020 N 635н.
In the new version, changes have been made to the descriptions of labor functions, job titles, specialties, brought in line with the All-Russian classifier of specialties in education.
According to the new edition, specialists with higher education will be able to pass an independent assessment of qualifications not only in the following areas:
- Standardization and metrology;
- Metrology, standardization and certification;
- Standardization and certification;
- Quality control;
- Management in technical systems;
- Innovation;
- Nanoengineering.

Successful completion of professional exams by students will be taken into account when:
- state and professional-public accreditations in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 15.08.2019, No. 1052 “On Amendments to the Regulation on State Accreditation of Educational Activities”;
- distribution of admission control figures in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of April 1, 2015 N 340 (with amendments and additions of July 11, 2016).
