Semifinalists of the program “UMNIK” of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovation are defending their projects these days in the Technopark “Idea”. The online defense brings together the authors of the best works that have passed several stages of selection. Among the main topics is the development of a radiothermograph for early diagnosis of brain neoplasms, the development of an automated system for remote diagnostics of pacemakers, etc.
During the event, experts will identify projects that will be recommended for receiving 500,000 rubles for implementation.
It should be noted that the main goal of the program “UMNIK” is to identify young scientists seeking self-realization through innovative activities, and to stimulate the mass participation of young people in scientific, technical and innovative activities through organizational and financial support for innovative projects.
The program participants are young people from 18 to 30 years of age inclusive (as a rule, students, postgraduates, young researchers) selected at accredited events of the program. Every year, over 1,000 projects are selected throughout the country.
The number of prizes is not determined in advance and depends on the quality level of each work and the ability of the selection participant to present his project.
