The President of Russian Federation Medvedev D.A. met with young scientists.

On the 30^th of July Dmitriy Medvedev met with young scientists in country residence of Russian President. The theme of discussion was problems of innovation development in Russia and methods of this problems solution. Dmitriy Anatolevich listened to suggestions of young scientists and different project directors for innovations adoption. The meeting essentially was attended by participants of youth educational forum “Seliger-2008” including head of Federal agency on affairs of youth Vasiliy Yakemenko, forum director Ilya Kostunov and also winners of international competitions, graduate students, young scientists.

Proposals for concrete projects realization starting from organization of all-Russian competitions for programming and finishing by adoption of software products in radiography were stated by participants.

The Representative of Technopark “Idea” – participant of “Seliger-2008” forum, head of bundled software project for X-ray picture recordation Ramil Kuleev also took part in the meeting with President.

According to Ramil in the majority of proposals advanced by students wasn’t enough systematic. The problems of innovations development from viewpoint of business practically weren’t dealt by speakers. Only the President spoke about it.

The President very attentively heard out every speaker and commented every proposal. It was pleasing surprise for me, I supposed that the meeting might turn out mere formality. Instead of scheduled 45 minutes the meeting lasted for almost 2 hours.

In whole Dmitriy Anatolevich positively spoke of all proposals but he called upon to think more pragmatic. Participations of the meeting got hope of probable support in realization of their projects from the government.
