How to get half a million for the project? The answers to this question were given by representatives of the Technopark “Idea” in the framework of the online seminar “Revealing ideas”. The seminar was attended by students and postgraduates of Russian universities.
General Director of the Technopark Oleg Ibragimov introduced the main figures. So, he explained that “Idea” within the framework of the program “UMNIK” accepts projects from the initiative youth of the Volga and Ural federal districts. In particular, 139 applications were submitted for the last selection, about half of which have passed the semi-final stage, and now these projects are being reviewed in absentia. Head of the Innovation Programs Development Department of the Technopark “Idea” Farida Gainullina introduced the seminar participants to the main programs of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovation, in particular, to the features of the program “UMNIK”: “The entire line of the Foundation’s competitive programs is focused on making it possible to use them in stages and now potential participants for the program “Start” are selected within the program “UMNIK”.
She also asked participants to strictly follow the presented project implementation plan: “There is a widespread misconception that the final point of the project has been reached with the grant. However, you need to understand that with the receipt of funding, your project is just beginning its journey”.
A specialist of the Technopark Tatyana Tunakova spoke in more detail about the structure of the presentation. For example, she explained to the participants that the final presentation should contain the necessary and sufficient information to evaluate the project and be logical: "At the same time, a creative approach is always welcome, which will allow you to distinguish your project from the top ten others”.
In addition, Tatyana Tunakova encouraged future smart people to describe in more detail the solution that the project provides: “Describe what you are doing so that the essence of the work is clear and its relevance does not raise questions, not only from specialists in the topic, but even from student 1st course. If you have a scientific groundwork, and something has already been done on the project, present it in the most favorable perspective, this is the chance”, - she said.
In addition, the specialists of the Technopark “Idea” introduced the participants of the program “UMNIK” to the most common mistakes, and also answered their questions.
