A pilot project has been launched to develop and test mechanisms for using an independent qualification assessment for intermediate and state final certification of students completing their studies at secondary vocational education institutions. In the framework of the implementation of the agreement, educational institutions of the secondary vocational education of Tatarstan, industry Councils for professional qualifications, the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications, the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan and Technopark “Idea” are jointly participating.
On June 2, 2020 the Council for professional qualifications in the automotive industry was the first to organize the professional exam on the vocational qualifications “Locksmith for mechanical assembly in the automotive industry, 3rd level of qualifications”. 20 students of the 3rd course of the Technical College named after V.D. Potashov (Naberezhnye Chelny) passed the theoretical part of the professional examinaton, associated with intermediate certification. Students with a passing score will receive a document of the Council for Professional Qualifications in the automotive industry about the successful completion of the theoretical part of the professional exam.
Within the framework of the agreement, Technopark “Idea” provides organizational support for the implementation of the pilot project, methodological and consulting support for the participants, and coordination of their activities. It also analyzes and summarizes the experience of evaluating qualifications during the intermediate and state final certification of students in secondary vocational education programs in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The purpose of the pilot project is to disseminate the practice of conducting intermediate certification and state final attestation with the use of the independent qualification assessment and to formulate a program for large-scale implementation of project results for the period 2020 - 2025.
