Today, the results of the I Republican Contest of Innovative Projects of Young Scientists “Science and Business” were summed up in Nizhnekamsk. The competition united students, graduate students, young scientists, researchers of the main universities of Tatarstan: Kazan Federal University, Kazan State Energy University, Kazan National Research Technological University.
“Science and Business” is carried out to stimulate innovative activities, support the best innovative projects carried out by young scientists, strengthen the relationship of universities with the real sector of the economy and transform existing knowledge, skills and technologies in the scientific environment into real applied technical and technological solutions of industrial enterprises.
Within the framework of the project, participants presented 19 projects in 2 nominations. All the works were evaluated by an expert jury, which included CEO of Technopark “Idea” Oleg Ibragimov, venture entrepreneur Marat Kadyrov, chief expert of the Technological Development Center of PJSC “Tatneft” Ainur Gayazov, Head of the Oil and Gas Chemistry Department of the Advanced Development Department of which included JSC “Taneco” Vyacheslav Kuzmin and others.
A project of Mikhail Kurin (Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute), who presented the project “Development of an lighting engineering complex based on LED technologies with an intelligent control system according to the stated illumination level”, was recognized the best project in the nomination “Promising Innovation Project”.
Elena Kirzhatskikh (Kazan State Energy University) won with the project “Differential method for determining the location of a single-phase earth fault in distribution networks with isolated neutral” in the nomination “Start in business”.
According to the results of the competition, the winners received cash prizes.
The competition is held by KNITU (Kazan Chemical and Technological Institute), Nizhnekamsk Chemical and Technological Institute “KNITU”, Kama Innovative Territorial Production Cluster and Technopark “Idea”.
